Reflection: Accountability A Personal Declaration Essay, Day Four - Section 2: A Personal Declaration

The exchanges I had today with students who lost their work were not pleasant, but they were necessary. Students must be held accountable for not following directions; it's just terribly unfortunate that their lack of accountability impacted them on a summative essay.

For these students, the lesson is learned. Others could still make the same mistake in the future. I will have to continue to stop students before the end of class to make reminders about saving.
