Reflection: ELL Students What About Squanto? - Section 3: Extend Understanding


This lesson went very well.  Breaking the drawing up into parts helps the kids see the part: whole relationship.  This lesson is about drawing, but the overarching message that works in tandem with the drawing is that when we are approaching large tasks, looking at the parts will help us to build to the whole.
