Reflection: Intrinsic Motivation Stories by the Fireside: Creating Experts on Romantic Poets - Section 1: Remember, Remember, the Fifth of November: Welcome and Intro


In each class, at least one student chimed in at "the fifth of November", so the poem has not slipped out of their consciousness, yet. While we only briefly reviewed the poetic devices, the majority of my male students did reply, "That movie was so badass!" (they approved) when I mentioned "V for Vendetta." Sometimes, it's the little things that bring joy to the classroom and get them motivated for the day.
