Reflection: Online Resources Quizlet - Lesson 1 of Cinder Book Three - Section 2: Lesson

I have used Quizlet for several years now and always look for that open window to introduce it.  I chose to introduce Quizlet at this point because I'm learning about my students and now see that many of are struggling with the specialized vocabulary of language arts.  They think they know the terms, but when asked to work with them as in the Cinder quizzes they have taken so far, it is obvious that they do not have a strong handle on the difference between many of the terms.

Many students mixed up the types of figurative language on the latest quiz or did not use a term at all.  I want the vocabulary to be second nature.

Additionally, it simply is not realistic for me to take days out of our unit to do lessons with the vocabulary and somewhat a waste of time when (from experience) I know this works better.
