Reflection: Performance Tasks Putting It In Writing: Comparing Cinderella Stories - Section 2: Writing the Paragraph

As I've said before in previous lessons, the intermediate team in my building is of the opinion that the post assessment must be the same as the preassessment.  I guess I am still undecided but I know for sure that in this case, I need students to be able to read a text and write a paragraph and I'd prefer that text to be a cold read.  So, having said that, I'm using this Cinderella project as a final assessment.  I can still compare it to the grades on the preassessment which was also gleaning similarities and differences from a text so I feel as though I am not totally breaking rank- just stepping out of line a bit!!
