Reflection: Checks for Understanding Nouns - Section 5: Student Reflection


I walked around as the students were working to monitor and see if they needed help getting started.  I wanted to see how much difficulty they were having labeling the picture.  I also listened to see if they were using vocabulary and if they were justifying their choices.  I did hear the child that created the model say a sandwich is a thing so I know it is a noun.  The she continued to justify her choices to her partner.  This helps me know what she is thinking, but it also helps her partner understand her reasoning.
