Reflection: Intervention and Extension ASSESSMENT PROJECT: Writing Linear Programming Problems Day 2 of 3 - Section 2: Investigation

Students will work in homogenous groups so I can position myself to guide the group I know will struggle with the assignment.  For groups that are ready for an extension activity, I make sure they write three or four constraints for their problem situation.  I also scaffold how much help/guidance I give to students.  For students who are more advanced, I encourage them to really struggle with the problem without giving much help. For students who struggle more with the content, I ask questions that will help them define their variables and constraints.
