Reflection: Student Self-Assessment Weather Forecasting Simulation - Section 2: Explore

Using computer games for learning is a double-edged sword.  Students are very engaged in the activity, but sometimes the content can be lost.  For this reason, I made sure to bring their focus back to the content by including reflection questions throughout the gaming process. See EXPLORE student sample questions for sample responses to the EXPLORE questions throughout the assignment.  The questions force them to pause and make a connection between the task/game and the learning at hand.
