Reflection: Student Led Inquiry The Water Cycle - Section 2: Explore


A diagram can be an entry point into inquiry-based learning for students.  Giving students a diagram and asking them guiding questions allows them to interpret information in their own way.  Students need to be able to navigate a scientific diagram to be successful on the state exams.  In the student work sample, you can see how the questions guide the student through the process of diagram navigation.

Big Idea: Using online media and demonstrations, students use their information of phase changes to identify the parts of the water cycle.
