Reflection: Developing a Conceptual Understanding Using the Force - Section 2: Try It Out

Students can often get into groups and then struggle with the concept they are trying to learn. This is why walking around during their group time is so important. Students can often get off task and give each other false information, depending on the group dynamic. When walking around I might have a group that needs some support. I try to steer them in the right direction and not just give them the answer or make it feel like I am correcting their thinking. I might ask them to read the directions closely again as a hint or suggest a place to find information in order to get more accurate information.
