Reflection: Routines and Procedures Erosion Detectives - Section 3: Preparing for Detection Work


The kiddos were excited to take their learning outdoors! Next time I will see if I can recruit some parent volunteers to take smaller groups around the school, rather than trying to move the whole class.

The lab form kept everyone on task, but I think the smaller groups would have been more conducive to discussions where everyone could participate. Each group could go to a different erosion site and then share their images and evidence with the rest of the class.
