Reflection: Learning Communities Final Review : Body System Research Projects (Day 5 of 6) - Section 3: Guided Practice - Student-Led Review Sessions

Due to their extensive research and week-long work with their body system topic, the students have morphed into the class "expert" on their body system topic.  Their expertise is based on the time they have devoted to their group research and the effort to create their Google Drive presentations.  With their new-found knowledge, the students are empowered to lead their own review session for their peers in a post-secondary type of activity.  The students in the audience enjoyed the opportunity to hear the information for a second time and the presenters gained confidence each time they presented in front of their peers.  I recommend this format of student collaboration in the future!
