  1. My intention was to have the children use their data to transfer to a line plot and offer another way to practice gathering data.  I made a quick decision when I realized that the intention was great, but it was too much to accomplish in my given time period.  

    When I teach this lesson again, I may find another way to incorporate the line plot into my math period, rather than trying to bring it in to the science aspect.

Objective: SWBAT connect the over fishing of fish in the ocean ecosystem and explore it's effects on food chains and food webs.

Big Idea: Food chains and food webs are what makes the ocean continue to sustain life. What happens when those food chains and webs are disrupted by human over fishing?
