Reflection: Flexibility Magnet: End of Unit Assessment - Section 4: Evaluating the Results


You will notice on the assessment rubric that it wanted the students to create variable within their test.  I overlooked this part and missed it. It is not clear on the test but is in the rubric.  During this unit, I have discussed variables and fair tests throughout many of the lessons and feel I can evaluate students understanding of this concept through that work.

Unit 3: Magnets
Lesson 10 of 10

Objective: SWBAT write a testable question about magnets. SWBAT design and implement an investigation for their testable question.

Big Idea: The students will combine their knowledge of magnets and their understanding of the scientific method to create their very own magnet inquiry. The possibilities our endless but all will be "attractive" as students conclude their magnet unit.
