Reflection: Shared Expectations Erosion Expert Panels - Section 4: Presentation Workshop


Students were involved with preparing the presentation to varying degrees. One student listed the tasks and wrote who would do each task. Other students took on the whole assignment, rather than try to figure out how everyone could participate and other students were waiting to be told what to do.

Next time, after students delineate the presentation tasks, I will direct teams to discuss who will do which tasks BEFORE they start preparing their presentation. Then pass out a form so each team  can indicate who will do which part of the presentation. I think this will help students have a more concrete way of knowing what they are accountable for.
