## Reflection: Student Ownership Fair or Stormy? A barometer can help you forecast the weather - Section 5: Class Discussion/Wrap Up

For this challenge many of my students wanted to work alone and then changed their minds and decided to collaborate with a partner because it was extremely challenging to figure out how the barometer should be put together. I've built a culture in my classroom whereby my students know that if they decide to work collaboratively then each one must contribute to the final project. It was so encouraging to see them helping each other and learning through trial and error.
