Reflection: Organizational Systems Identifying Positive Rational Numbers on Number Lines - Section 1: Think About It

At the start of each year, I create a long term calendar.  I record all instructional days and mark off any days that are unusual (like half days, which mean shorter classes for us).  Each month gets its own tab in my spreadsheet.

I put in the lessons that I plan to teach that day, and also fill in the cumulative review content.  The document evolves over the course of the year, especially as I get to know my students.  I make adjustments with the onset of snow days, or if I need to reteach something.

This is the Aug/September tab of my 2014-15 year long calendar
