Reflection: Student Grouping Fast Pass: Fluency and Accuracy Practice Game - Section 1: The Rules:


When it come to fluency and accuracy every student can play. I like to choose students that are at the same reading level or are working on similar reading goals. This helps keep everyone confident and willing to play. I have found that when a game is involved students can be a little too competitive. Higher readers can often intimidate or become frantic when they are depending on other readers.

Big Idea: Sometimes the best way to practice is by playing a game. This is a fun game that is played with a small group of students.
