## Reflection: Intervention and Extension Converting with Percents - Section 3: Group Work

At this point, my students have learned how to convert between fractions, decimals, and percents.  To reinforce our discussions of these concepts and the math work required, I decided to have them create a Foldable.  I gave them labels for the outside of the foldable and then gave them labels with the steps. They had to match the concept with the steps and then given their own example of the conversion.  Since my students weren't completely comfortable with their knowledge of these concepts yet, the foldable activity required them to use their notes and work with their group.
