Reflection: Developing a Conceptual Understanding Strings - Section 3: Explore


I found several things that I needed to do to improve the lesson. First, I need a poster: vocabulary to have all of the words my students want to use hanging in the room. Then I needed to be sure and go back over each string and pluck it for the students as they compared the pitch of the strings. 

Another thing I think that really helped my students make great observation is using this anchor chart: scientific observation. I find having visuals really helps my students understand what I am talking about.
