Reflection: Developing a Conceptual Understanding The Lungs - Section 2: Guided Practice - whole group


After teaching this lesson, I realize that it would have been a better learning experience and would have allowed for a better understanding with students if I had included some type of hands-on learning.  I might have been able to have them blow up a balloon or something where the students were actually using their own lung function. 

I think that having them physically do something connects the learning to the real world.
