Reflection: Adjustments to Practice Heating and Cooling: Corn - Section 3: Wrap Up


This was a very interesting lesson. Students learned about popcorn throughout the entire week in other subjects, and it concluded with this lesson on corn. The students enjoyed viewing the resources and making connections about corn. In reflecting back on this lesson, I would like to give an assessment towards the end of the lesson to determine proficiency and understanding amongst the students.

Objective: Students will be able to identify how technology has been used to heat or cool products for human wants or needs.

Big Idea: Students will be able to identify how corn has been changed by applying different processes such as heating or cooling.
