Reflection: Unit Exams Hurricanes. Assessment Day - Section 2: Hurricane Unit Assessment


At times, I find it difficult to determine what to include in an assessment. How can I touch upon the different learning styles to allow for students to really show their depth of knowledge? In this assessment students were able to show and apply what they have learned through the essay questions by giving examples, evidence, to explain their rationale.

Objective: Students will be able to demonstrate mastery of hurricane unit by scoring 80% or above on a unit assessment.

Big Idea: Summative assessments will measure what students have learned , and can apply, at the end of a unit.
