Reflection: Performance Tasks Force and Motion Unit Assessment: Day 2 - Section 3: Scoring the Assessment


I have included two examples of student work.  The first example demonstrates a student who made an appropriate hypothesis but the reasoning didn't support their hypothesis.  The second example demonstrates a student who makes an appropriate hypothesis and then supports it with clear reasoning.

Objective: SWBAT conduct a self planned investigation, record results, and interpret data. SWBAT apply their learning to situations outside the classroom.

Big Idea: On the 2nd day of this two day unit assessment, students will continue to apply their knowledge of the scientific method.
