Reflection: Parent Communication Building a Nest of Essential Questions - Section 1: Field Guide (Instructional Notes)


It is incredibly meaningful to connect with families, and I find that parents want to support their students' education with fun activities that support the curriculum.  Another worksheet or complex book report is not what I'm after... I look to what students enjoy!  First graders often enjoy crafts and cooking activities that we complete in class, so this home connection includes just that!
