Reflection: Students with Disabilities Measuring Mass - Section 1: Engage

The math on a triple beam balance isn't always easy for students with disabilities or low performance math scores.  To help them along the way, I make sure to include additional supports, providing them with an easy way to calculate the total mass using the triple beam balance. I have found being very explicit in the way that I model usage of the science tools, helps my students to better visualize the procedure for using them.
