Reflection: Adjustments to Practice Poetry Writing - Writer's Choice - Section 2: Lesson Opener


I was actually EXTREMELY impressed at the work the students were coming up with on the Instant Poetry HD app.  They were able to use much richer vocabulary words than they have been using in their poetry.  I think next year I will move this activity to toward the first of the unit and talk about using these rich words in our writing.  I feel bad that I waited until our last poem writing day to use it.  :(
