Reflection: Gradual Release What's the Buzz about BEEing a Scientist? - Section 3: Explore

When creating this unit, I made three different choices for observation charts.  The one I used had the most scaffolding.  It had all of the pollinators listed on each row.  In hind sight, I wish I would have used the paper without any pollinators listed since the children had a better grasp on the names of pollinators than I expected.  Plus one of the goals is to get the children to design their own investigations.  This would have been the perfect opportunity to let them do more on their own.  I will know for next year and I hope you learn from my mistake.
