Reflection: Adjustments to Practice Books We Could Read Again and Again - Section 2: Resource

I copy the forms onto two different colors and designate one for fiction and the other for non-fiction. This way, students can easily find books in their preferred genre when posted to a bulletin board. Once again, it forces students to make thoughtful choices rather than grabbing paper and hurriedly scribbling something on it.

Books We Could Read Again and Again

Unit 2: Reading in the Classroom and at Home
Lesson 4 of 5

Objective: SWBAT recommend books to others using a book recommendation form.

Big Idea: Teachers shouldn't be the only ones in the classroom recommending books to students. Students can do just as great of a job - maybe even better - when suggesting books to their peers!
