Reflection: Exit Tickets Composition of Functions, Day 2 of 2 - Section 5: Closure


Today's exit slips really allowed me to see how students need to work on terminology to be precise.

As I reviewed the slip I saw students that stated the 2 functions were inverses and opposites which is what I expected. I also had many students say they were reciprocals. The 4th example was interesting because the student states the the functions are the same so they cancel each other out. I am not sure what was meant by the same.

I addressed the terminology issues in my next lesson, Finding Inverses Day 1 of 2.
