Reflection: Standardized Tests (PARCC/Smarter Balanced) Cornerstone: Game Day - Multimedia Elements in a Text - Section 3: Game Time!

I am beginning to incorporate video into my assessments since this is what scholars will face on the PARCC next year.  This is the first time I've used video on an assessment.  I think it is important to attempt to use video even if I don't have the technology to give each student access to the video.  Practicing watching and responding to a video is invaluable to students at this point and we all should be attempting to provide scholars with as many opportunities to do this as possible. Then, they will be better prepared when they do have the technology.
