Reflection: Modeling Hanging out with the ABC's - Section 2: Letter Activity

The students love this activity.  It involves the sensory cards and fine motor skills of using the clothespins.  After they have mastered the uppercase alphabet I change it up by putting out the lower case cards.  As a final extension, I put out both the upper case and lower case for them to match up and hand up on the line.  Working together as a small group allows the lower ELL students to receive multiple opportunities to practice this skill using peer teaching.
