Reflection: Student Ownership The Body of the Argument Part 1 - Section 3: Lesson & Independent Writing Time


It is very important to me that students "buy in" to what we are doing.  One of the ways I do this is through allowing them to take ownership of the job.  This is why I am using the information they came up with yesterday.

Students are much more willing to believe in and do something they came up with and in this case they also have their handout from yesterday with notations on it to remind them of why the items listed on the board are important.
