Reflection: Checks for Understanding Vocabulary Clarification Activity - Section 1: Warm Up


During a separate class period, as another form of review, I'll have them write the definition on the side with the sentence- when it's not right in front of them.  After the amount of exposure they've had with these words, through classroom dialogue and periodic reviews, I'd expect them to write a correct definition of each word without too much effort. The goal is for these tier three words to become a natural part of their vocabulary.
