## Reflection: High Quality Task Factoring Polynomials 1 - Section 3: Huddle

The attached student work sample in the resource section was created by one of the students, and we used it as a huddle example to go over as a whole class.

I liked it the student included in 3 of her distractor answers three common mistakes:

1) factoring only the constant as the GCF (answer choice a)

2) "canceling out" the 9x (answer choice b) - it shouldn't disappear, it should become 1

3) forgetting to factor out x in the third term (answer choice d)

Demonstrates a high level of understanding beyond just answering the question!
