Reflection: Lesson Planning Palindrome Patterns (Part 1) - Section 2: Exploring Palindromes


Curriculum should not be something copied prescriptively from a text book or manual.  The best lessons I have found help me explore how to teach students to think.  I've spent a lot of time backing my curriculum with brain research and seeking information on the how and why a lesson should be taught.  Your brain is a pattern seeking device even when you are planning your lessons.  My reflection on building curriculum.
