Reflection: Adjustments to Practice Recording Sources Using a Graphic Organizer - Section 2: Main Activity

It was just a few years ago that students collected most of their information for a report by reading books, encyclopedias, pamphlets, and videos. Nowadays, a lot of the information comes from the internet. Therfore, I've had to adjust my practice and teach students how to use the internet to record information for their bibliography. Unfortunately, it is even more difficult for students to find the information they need because there is not standard way for website to show who wrote what and when it was written.

Analying websites for quality based on whether or not they provided these pieces of information would make for a great follow-up lesson.
