Reflection: Reviewing the Equal Sign - Section 2: Presentation of Lesson


My students use Starfall on the computer during ELA all the time!  They love the activities, songs and stories.  A lot of the math components of Starfall are for members only, but there are still some great things available for free if you search around the site.  What I do for my students is make shortcuts on the desktop that will take them directly to a specific game.  This is what I did for the bowling game and when my students had computer time, it was one of the first things they picked to play!

Reviewing the Equal Sign

Unit 7: Subtraction
Lesson 7 of 19

Objective: Students will be able write a subtraction equation using the equal sign.

Big Idea: Students will review the meaning of the equal sign. Students will practice putting the symbols in the correct place in subtraction equations.
