Reflection: Real World Applications Research and Technology-The Tail - Section 1: Advanced Organizer

Having the students work with research is always an important skill to develop.  The topic for the research today was very motivating and the students quickly bought into it.  Having them tap into their own personal favorites first, really seemed to set the stage for the rest of the class period.  They were eager to research and ready to share.

I was happy I was able to build this connection first before getting into the research, it allowed me a easy transition into the work because they were so eager.
