Reflection: Lesson Planning Making Tense...taking the present to the past. - Section 2: Application


The most important task with this lesson is to be prepared.  Although sometimes you can grab a book off the cuff and dive into a lesson...this is not that time.  Identifying poems that meet the needs of changing tenses can be tricky.  I liked a few examples from the two books I chose, but had I given myself more time, I know I'd have located even better examples for the kids.
