Reflection: Developing a Conceptual Understanding Sorting by Size - Section 2: Direct Instruction

Online resources can help you build conceptual understanding in your students. There is often no need to stay up all night to create things to help your students grasp concepts because most of it is already on the internet. I google search two or three different key phrases and often find what I need within minutes. The UK is very good about posting learning videos for math concepts. Take a few minutes for each lesson you plan and look for sites that can help you develop conceptual understandings in your kids.
