Reflection: Intrinsic Motivation Myth Madness: Using Technology to Share Favorite Myths (Day 3) - Section 4: Demonstrate Skills

Today, as I walked around the lab, I heard myself saying: "Wow!  Very creative work!" quite a bit, and at some point, I know had a made a positive comment for every one of my students at some point in the lab!  I am amazed at how well the students are doing with this project, but I'm more amazed and how well they're able to craft it into something that is their own!  No project is truly like another-even though they all have the same components!  And, as I comment on how great the kids are doing, I can see that they only become more proud of their work, and their intrinsic motivation to do well on this task rises!  Technology is a wonderful thing to incorporate into the classroom, as long as the right technology has been paired with the right task!  And in this case-I can clearly see the benefits!
