Reflection: Student Communication Proportional Candy Gate Day 3 Building Connections - Section 5: Student Activity


Students appreciated seeing the correlation between a linear relationship and proportionality.  When students were able to graph the ordered pairs and see clearly a straight line then relate that to proportionality they found this to be easy and clear.  This is a strategy students will use to justify constant of proportionality when using a graph or table.
