## Reflection: High Quality Task Unit Assessment - Section 1: Unit Assessment

This is a doozy of an assessment.  One great opportunity for you to capitalize on is using this assessment as a guide within the unit to tailor your lessons according to the end result.  Using the backward design method allows students the opportunity to have no surprises once the end of the unit assessment arises. You may also give this same assessment at the start of the unit and then again after you have taught the unit.  This is a great way to gauge what students actually learned.  You will be able to compare data and regroup your instruction accordingly.
