Reflection: Real World Applications Functions and Finance - Section 3: Wrap It Up


I expected this to be an engaging lesson because it appeals to almost every student who is contemplating graduation and moving out on their own, but I did not expect the level of enthusiasm and effort that occurred!  These students are all juniors and seniors and were so committed to understanding how to work with these numbers that I extended the lesson into a second day to discuss their options in greater detail.  I'll plan for that next year and also be ready with specific information about our state and regional colleges/towns.
