## Reflection: Pacing Stop, Look and Check - Section 4: Closing

Common Core MP3 states that students will be able to explain their math reasoning and critique the reasoning of others. By sharing solutions, students are looking at each other's math reasoning and beginning to critique that reasoning.

These students are second graders and hearing the reasoning of others and determining if it makes sense is a new skill. This lesson is one of the first times that students are working in pairs to determine if their partner's thinking makes sense.
