Reflection: Gradual Release Taking Note - Section 4: Independent Practice


I chose to use a note taking sheet similar to sentence starters because note taking is difficult for 3rd graders. To make it more approachable for students I felt scaffolding it for students would give them something to anchor the task to and as students become more comfortable, I can gradually release the task to students.
