Reflection: Routines and Procedures Cinder-Elly: Day 1 of Cinderella Unit - Section 2: Reading Response Project


My students loved the idea of creating art since most of them are very into making art projects and creating books.  Because I observed art to be their common point of interest, I decided to allow them to explore their artistic talents cooperatively.  Students had a few issues sharing materials among the teams.  Some arts and crafts materials were more popular than others and we ran out, so this is the area that I will make more clear for the next time.  I would set a few rules that addresses distribution of materials and limitations or amounts of each material each team can take.

Unit 1: Fractured Fairly Tales

Objective: SWBAT compare and contrast key details in different versions of the same fictional story.

Big Idea: As an introduction to different perspectives on the same story, students will analyze text of a different version of a familiar story.
