Reflection: Student Ownership A Jacket for Frosty - Section 2: Whole Group

Reflection: Within my whole group lessons, I tend to do a lot of think-pair-share. I also try to include real world situations to connect to their background knowledge. I feel that the students can learn a great deal from each other, and I find that allowing them time to express themselves to one another is extremely beneficial. I typically have them all together on a carpet for the whole group lesson. Also, it may be beneficial to have the students grouped equitably when they leave the carpet to conduct their experiment; to ensure that they can help each other if necessary.
