Reflection: Grappling with Complexity Percent of a Number - Section 2: Explore


It was difficult for students to move away from the bar diagrams to using numbers and operations to find percent values. The bar diagrams were helpful and several students want to use them. We will have to spend time revisiting the concept until they are more comfortable.
